Abstract
Objective. This study compared the costs and patient movements of a new hospital protocol to discontinue contact precautions for patients with non-multiresistant methicillin-resistantStaphylococcus aureus(nmMRSA), based on whole-genome sequencing (WGS) of pathogens with current practice.
